HauntOp is haunted attraction operations software built by SplatterFX LLC (operating as Hazardroom). This page describes how SMS text messaging works within HauntOp.
Who receives messages.
Cast and crew members of haunted attractions that use HauntOp. These are staff of the haunt operator, not members of the general public.
What messages are sent.
Operational messages related to running the attraction: shift reminders, call times, position or schedule changes, weather-related closures, and emergency notifications, including evacuation alerts. HauntOp does not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How recipients opt in.
A cast or crew member’s phone number is entered into HauntOp by their haunt operator during onboarding, with the individual’s consent, for the purpose of receiving the operational messages described above.
How to opt out.
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
